Jean ScottMoncrieff is a designer/maker using traditional techniques and tools to produce pieces in high carat gold and ssilver. She is interested in classic forms and surface decoration fusing fragments of gold onto silver and roller pressing textures to create subtle details. Carefully selected gemstones add sparkle or contrast to the lusture of the handfinished surface of the metal. She is influenced by ancient artefacts and tribal cultures but her style is unmistakably 21st century her work is characterised by impeccable design and acute attention to detail.
