Job Sought: Jobbing Jeweller/ Goldsmith/ SilversmithI am currently working full time as a goldsmith for David Smith Jewellery in Lewes, East Sussex. This involves making and designing the bespoke jewellery through our commission service. As well as doing this I also make my own designs in my free time. My work is currently concerned with crisp, timeless architectural shapes and a slick finish. I am also heavily influenced by urban culture, mainly graffiti. This two dimensional medium informs some of my three dimensional work and translates extremely well. This side of my work is a collection of pieces made primarily in silver which often includes 18ct yellow and white gold either as details or as the main material. I have also been exploring a unique concept of jewellery to be worn on trainers which stems from urban culture. I feel very proud to have evolved this concept from my degree and am able to keep pushing the boundaries using the skills I have learned over the past 6 years.

Job Sought: Administrative Assistant/ Jewellery AssistantI graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a 2:1 in Applied Arts & Crafts specialising in jewellery. During my time at University I was able to gain work experience at contemporary applied art gallery in Clerkenwell, London. Working at Lesley Craze Gallery was a great experience. I really enjoyed working in a Gallery environment in a close team. I quickly learned that an intimate knowledge of artists work was valuable, and I was able to draw on previous experience in customer service when dealing with clientele. I was given the opportunity to help with press releases and see how much work goes into putting them together. I also helped generate invoices and send them out to various different designers and artists.
In my current job at Atlantic Risk Management Services Ltd my job title is Credit Controller/ Administrative Assistant. This role has given me a great grounding and experience in administrative and organisational skills. I am currently in control of three ledgers comprising of 300 clients. My credit control role entails liaising with debtors, the banks and the companies to clear up disputes, queries and to chase payments owed to our clients. This requires handling daily telephone calls with our clients, directors of companies and debtors. I have an excellent telephone manner, and enjoy dealing and helping with people queries and disputes. On a daily basis I have to keep all spreadsheets up to date as they may be required by the bank; this entails making accurate and concise notes on phone calls I have made and received, also keeping the banking up to date through cheques, checking bank statements and also facflow. I also have to check regularly that spreadsheet balances w! ith information on sage. I also support my colleagues by doing general administrative duties such as taking telephone calls, locating and photocopying paperwork and documents, post and any other duties that colleagues may need to be done.
I take great pride in my work and enjoy being proactive committed worker. I am an accurate typist and proficient in Microsoft Office and Sage, I am willing to undertake more training in other database systems and any other training necessary for this role.Willing to travel up to 1.5 hrs outside of London if there are good rail links.

Job Sought: DesignerI have four years of work experience in design and manufacture of handmade luxury jewelry. In my portfolio I have a variety of techniques and designs including also some of the latest techniques rapid prototyping. I also had the privilege to be a student of Manos Panayiotou which was the ex-lead designer at Cartier. I am also very proficient in wax sculpting which I use a microscope to work on size of 22-30 mm. I have worked in productive workshops that specialize in luxury handmade jewelry and I believe that I have a lot to contribute in the field.
Currently I finished studying in the Metropolitan University where I did an MA on the fusion of technology and traditional micro sculpting techniques. Using CAD/CAM and traditional techniques I created 22-30 mm figures and mythical creatures. I especially focused in improving the techniques used for emotion and movement of my figures.
